Costa Rica Birding Tour

One of the top birding destinations in the world because of great diversity of birdlife.

Costa Rica is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, home to a wide array of ecosystems ranging from lowland tropical rainforests to high elevation cloud forests and even coastal mangroves and wetlands. This diverse landscape supports over 900 species of birds, one of the highest numbers of birds despite the country's small size. From the resplendent quetzal in the highland cloud forests to the scarlet macaw along the Pacific coast, Costa Rica's protected areas provide a sanctuary for a vibrant mix of endemic and migratory bird species, showcasing the country's commitment to conservation and its role as an eco-tourist hotspot.
